The Bugatti Veyron is the fastest production car in the world. Also the most powerful engine rated @ 1,001 horsepower. 0-253 mph in less than 1 minute. Engine is a W16 design with quad turbochargers. Price is about $2 million dollars.

i saw this the other day on tv i think the show was called super cars
one cars top speed 207 mph.they all were very fast sports cars.

The Bugatti Veyron, and SSC Ultimate Aero. Bugatti Veyron I think 253, and SSC 256. The Veyron is 1.7 Mill, has a w16 engine. But i highly doubt that ur going to get it.

Best Engine – SSC Ultimate Aero
Most Expensive – Aston Martin One 77, Bugatti Veyron

best engine and mileage should go to (in my opinion) the zr1. the ls9 is an amazing engine. the boxter engine from porsche is also magnificent. my favorite sports cars are lamborghinis

Top speed has been answered, so I will give an answer in terms of acceleration for 0-60 mph.
Bugatti Veyron: 2.5 seconds
Ferrari 430 Scuderia: 3.1 seconds
Lamborghini Murcielago LP670: 3.2 seconds
Ferrari GTB Fiorano: 3.2 seconds
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: 3.3 seconds
