here’s an electric sports car. Audi has raced a turbo diesel and had much success with it.

    drive less

I heard that if everybody drove only 3% less, there would be a big impact on gas prices and also less emissions

Driving sports cars really doesn’t have anything to do with the price of gasoline. Oil is like Diamonds. There is so much of it, The world has an unlimited supply of oil, just like we have an unlimited supply of diamonds, but when OPEC controls the amount of oil that’s produced , and keeps the supply down, this drives prices up. Do some research on OPEC on the Internet and you can get a lot of information on OPEC. Plus you’ll find out that Goerge Bush really doesn’t have anything to do with the price of oil in our country. Which most people thinks he does.

All sporty type cars are not necessarily gas guzzlers. Motor and weight are the key. If you can afford what you drive don’t whine.
I have no sympathy for people who feed SUV’s gas. They are heavy, big, non-aerodynamic, top heavy, and rarely does anyone require 4 or all wheel drive. The bigger and heavier a vehicle is, you may as well figure on 12 mpg or less.
