coreyrules6 asked:

I think the V6 counterparts are a complete joke and should have never been made in the 1st place and that whoever thought up making those sports cars with V6 engines instead V8s should burn in hell for making them available to people for a good price who really wanted that V8 power instead. If those V6 models were never available, then people wouldn’t get a car they never truly wanted.

IT’S A SPORTS CAR FOR GOD’S SAKE. UNLESS IT’S GOT THAT V8 BURNOUT POWER, IT DOESN’T DESERVE TO BE CALLED A “SPORTS CAR”.

i agree with you on that one,to me there’s no such thing as a sporty v-6 ,we all had hot rods when we was young, and all of them had v-8,s and now days you hear 4 cylinders and v-6,s that are trying to keep up with v-8,s,its not the same thing as it was 30 years ago ,when your setting behind a big old 440 or a 426 hemi,or even some of the big block Chevy’s.i think they ruined the mustang when they put a 4 cylinder in it,even though a lot of them sold, they were meant to be a v-8 car,Chevy was the only one that stayed true to the sports car with the corvette,it never have a 4 cylinder or a v-6 in it,now days we all want the v-8 sound to come back, and it is,hopefully the v-6 will fade out of the sports cars, good luck on it.

yes i completly agree. theres nothing more beuatiful than hearing an 8 rev. True that 6′s are better on gas but theres no point on having a “sports car” that goes as fast as a family van.

These are not “sports cars”, V8 engines or not. Sports cars by definition possess good handling qualities, which these cars with their flimsy bodies, ancient suspensions and excessive nose-heaviness do not.
